Diófa street to be asphalted in full length
A priority role is played by road constructions in response to the residents initiatives in the Traffic Developmment Programme of the New Phoenix Plan – said Mr. Lajos Barcsa, deputy mayor of Debrecen and councilman for the electoral ward at the press-meeting in Diófa street on July 18, 2019.
The as yet unpaved stretch of Diófa street opening from Kishegyesi road is to get asphalt cover over a length of 85 metres and a width of 3.5 metres. The public utilities’ clearance is also to be effected in relation to the road construction work. The construction area was made accessible on July 8, 2019, since then preparatory work has been going on. The construction work proper actually started on July 17 by making preparations for the building of the precipitation-drainage system. The gross total cost incurred by the development project is 20,853,413 HUF which is to be covered by the municipal government’s own financial sources. Construction work is expected to be completed by September, 2019.
