Large-surface pavement renovation in Jerikó street
On the proposal of the Fidesz-KDNP faction-group of the General Assembly, the municipal government of Debrecen has assigned further resources to the renovation of pedestrian pavements. In the framework of the extended programme, the renovation of a stretch of 400 metres in Jerikó street is about to begin.
This was announced by Mr. György Korbeák, councilman for the electoral ward in that quarter of town at his press meeting on July 30, 2019. It is a priority objective of the Liveable City Programme of the New Phoenix Plan that besides major development investment projects of smaller magnitude, i.e. minor projects in smaller individual quarters of town, too. It is of primary significance for the municipal government in Debrecen that her citizens could move about easily and safely on improved quality walk-ways.
