Large-surface side-walk upgrading to continue in Jerikó street
Upon the initiative of the Fidesz-KDNP faction-group of the citiy’s General Assembly further finantial sources have been assigned by the council to renovating side-walks in the city of Debrecen.
By means of this assignement the construction work started in the stretch betwen no. 18. Jerikó street and Bolyai street in late July and early August is to be continued as announced by Mr. György Korbeák, councilman for the electoral ward in that quarter of town on September 19, 2019. In the final stage of the project the stretch of side-walk extenting from no. 2. to no. 18. of Jerikó street is expected to be accomplished by September 20, the weather permitting, including the removal of the old broken asphalt surface and covering it with a new layer as well as furnishing it with the surface traffic-signs all the way to Bolyai street. The side-walk cover of a length of 280 metres will be renovated during this project. The cost incurred by the upgrading project ammounts 20 million HUF fully covered by the municipal gorvernment from her sources.
