„Miniature boxing world cup” again in Debrecen
One of the most time-honoured tournaments in Europe, the István Bocskai International Memorial Boxing s to be staged for the 63rd time with the participation of nearly 200 boxers from 29 countries.
It is now the 63rd time the István Bocskai International Memorial Boxing Tournament is organized in the Oláh Gábor street Sports Hall in Debrecen between February 6 and 9, 2019 as was announced at today’s press-conference by Mr. Lajos Barcsa, deputy mayor of Debrecen. On the basis of the preliminary nominations, the most outstanding amateur boxers from England, Argentina, Austria, Botswana, Cyprus, The Czech Republic, Belorussia, France, Greece, The Netherlands, Croatia, Iran, Kazahstan, Kosovo, Poland, Lithuvania, Moldova, Italy, Russia, Armenia, Spain, Slovakia, Somalia, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine and Uzbekhistan are going to compete.
The first qualifiers will take place form 2 o’clock p.m. on February 06, the opening ceremony will be held at 5 o’clock p.m. on February 06. The tournament is to be opened by Mr. Lajos Barcsa, deputy mayor of Debrecen, and Mr. Zsolt Erdei, president of the Hungarian Boxing Association.
