Napraforgó street is being covered with asphalt
A large-surface asphalting programme is taking place in Debrecen. Subsequent to the completion of laying with asphalt in Mester street, it is now the turn of Napraforgó street in the Kismacs suburb – announced Mr. Zoltán Hernádi, Councilman for the electoral ward in that quarter of town on April 29, 2019.
Priority attention is paid to the traffic development programme of the New Phoenix Plan not only in the down-town area, but also concerning the upgrading of road networks in the outlying parts of the city. That is how a new asphalt cover was laid on a section of country-road Kádár leading to the Ondód settlement area last year and it is now followed by the construction work to start in Napraforgó street in Kismacs. The pavement is covered by the contractor after the complete rebuilding of the under-structure, and putting in order the precipitation drainage ditch alongside the road surface. In the first stage of the proramme, the 350 metre stretch extending from Zöldmező street to Vihar street will get a new full-width cover. The expense of 72 million HUF incurred by this project is covered by the Debrecen Municipal Government from its own budgetary sources.
