New surgery to be built in the place of the old one in Szabó Pál street
The old surgery is being pulled down and the new one is being built. At the start of the demolition work, Mr. Viktor Papp, councilman for the electoral ward, said at the press meeting convened on location on June 26, 2019, that the modernization of the surgery would result in a surgery where the patients can be treated in a far more suitable environment by the doctors and the district nurses.
As part of the Provident City Programme of the New Phoenix Plan, 10 buildings housing family surgeries have been upgraded so far by the Municipal Government. On councilman, Mr. Viktor Papp’s initiative it is the turn of the eleventh building which is located in Szabó Pál street and which was in a rather dilapidated condition.
The approximately 30-year-old building of a light structure has declined remarkably, therefore I found it of key importance that it should not be renovated but rather have a completely new sructure built – pointed out Mr. Viktor Papp, councilman for the elctoral ward at his press meeting.
