NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BUILDING D OF NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS IS COMPLETE
As a result of the well-planned strategic construction, Debrecen has become a number one investment target not only in Hungary, but also in Central Europe – declared Péter Szijjártó Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the inauguration of the new building of National Instruments (NI) electronic service centre in Debrecen, on 14 November 2019.
The minister said: the Hungarian Government granted a non-repayable cash allowance of 2.5 billion HUF to assist NI Hungary’s investment of 5.5 billion HUF, which created 216 new jobs.
László Papp, Mayor of Debrecen said: a new era in economic development began 18 years ago when NI settled in our city, and the company’s success story justified that Debrecen is able to meet the requirements set by companies that have the highest possible demand for technology and knowledge.
The mayor praised NI’s local mentor program, which made it possible for over six thousand students from 145 institutions in the city and the region to come into contact with the company over the past 10 years.
