The German company Deufol to start building its manufacturing plant in Debrecen
The German Deufol company is to start building its packaging and logistical plant in Debrecen. Following the well advanced preparatory work , the laying of the foundation stone of the factory in the Southern Industrial Park of Debrecen will be taking place in October – announced the Company’s managing director on September 10, 2019.
Mr. Jürgen Hillen said: The facility to be constructed as a result of a 7 billion HUF investment 120 new jobs will be created and it is going to be one of Europe’s most modern packaging and logistical plants and will at the same time be DEUFOL’s regional centre, too, in South-Eastern Europe. Mr. László Papp, mayor of Debrecen stated. The Hungarian government granted 1,4 billion HUF, while the city of Debrecen granted 60 million HUF non-refundable contribution to the development project. The mayor of Debrecen let it also be known, that between 2015 and 2019 6200 new jobs have been created in Debrecen, in good part as a result of the investments of German firms.
