A further stretch of country-lane „Kádár” is to get a new asphalt cover. The outlying Ondód settlement of the Borough of Debrecen has its busy access road modernized and the local residents are going to experience remarkable improvement in commuting to down-town Debrecen.
This was announced by Mr. Zoltán Hernádi, councilman for the electoral ward of Ondód at his press meeting on May 16, 2019. This new development project got started as part of the Traffic Modernization Programme of the New Phoenix Plan. Wthin the framework of the large-scale asphalting programme of this year the upgrading of a section of Mester street has already been accomplished, while construction work is just underway at a steady speed in Napraforgó street and now the programme is to continue along country lane „Kádár”. There are five hundred people resident in the Ondód settlement of town, who use this country-lane that connects the settlement with motorway M35 every day. The full-width modernization of this road significantly contributes to the increased safety and quality of life of the inhabitants of the outlying Ondód settlement.
